State Pension - What does your look like?

And is it enough?

In April 2020 the rate of the new state pension increased to £175.20 per week (£9,110.40 per year).

But, as the state pension is based on your National Insurance contributions, yours could be different. You need 35 years of full contributions to get the full amount of state pension.

Check online to see your NI record, find out when you would be able to claim your state pension, and how much you can expect at gov.uk/new-state-pension

The state pension provides a basic income, but think about how you can start saving to build on it.
